Ok, the idea was snaged from the classic "Iron Chef".
3 customizers are chosen by the board to be the "Plastic Chefs".
Challengers will request a battle with one of the 3 via a mod who will work as our "Chairman".
The fist contest would be tricky because I was thinking the winner of each challange would be the one to supply the "secret ingrediant" (base figure)for the next battle. So, We would need 2 of the same exact figures donated to start with.
To keep it fair, each customizer in the challange would wait till they have both recived the base figure before opening the box. After the figure is revealed the contestants have 1 week to made an original custom out of it.
Pictures will be posted of the final product and judged by 4 members of the board selected by the "Chairman".
Judging will be based on 4 dirrent criteria.
1: originaltiy
2: execution
3: paint app
4: style
Judges will have 20pts to spread out between each criteria.
The customizer with the highest score at the end of the judging is the winner of the battle adn will supply the base fodder for the next battle.
It's still a lil rough......

Sweet idea! i like a lot. The only thing i would change, is have a small entrance fee, and build up a kittie, so maybe half the figure is paid for for each guy? Winner or loser having to supply both figs is a little harsh i think.
I dig the idea a lot, and think that it could be tons of fun.
Would love to see the board try it out.

Then either contestants always have some stern looking family member watching them with life & death intent. Like if he fails to correctly broil the red snapper or arranges the garnish incorrectly, there's gonna be some seppuku after the show.
